HIGH PERFORMANCE SERIES BLENDER Is the best Kitchenaid blender so far. Streamlined and takes up significantly less space. However controls allow for excellent smoothies and can be used to process food. Great choice!

MAKES A LOUD GRINDING SOUND WHILE BLENDING LIQUIDS. WHEN I MOVE THE CONTAINER AROUND IT QUITS FOR A MINUTE BUT RETURNS. WOULD LIKE TO GET IT FIXED OR REPLACED

I bought this 2 months ago, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The base of the unit is heavier than I figured it would be, but doesnt take away from my ratings. The KitchenAid is much more powerful than my Ninja that it replaced. I will never buy a Ninja again! My biggest surprise is how quiet it is even when turned all the way up. I could have it going and still talk to someone in the room without having to repeat myself. I love the speed dial feature, allowing me to set it at exactly the rate I want it to work. And cleanup is the easiest I have ever had for a blender. Nothing to take apart, just put it in the dishwasher on the lower rack, and it comes out perfectly clean every time. And the dishwasher hasn't even washed the measuring markings on the crafte off. And I love how the rubber piece on the base of the unit comes off so easily to wash. I did expect the the craft to be glass instead of plastic, but I do not see how making it glass would make it any better. I do not understand the purpose of having an on/off switch on the back of the machine, and one on the front of the machine; but I'm sure there is a good reason for it. Just seems redundant to me. The only area I can think of for improvement would be to design the craft with a pour spout that doesn't allow liquid to run down the side after pouring. Every time I have poured something from it, it runs down the side. All in all, this has been my favorite purchase in at least the last 6 months.

I am very happy with this machine. It takes up less room than the Torrent and is not as noisy. it is sleek, very easy to operate, has variable speeds on the turn knob and pulse toggle type switch. it blends and purees easily and quickly due to its high power. There is a removable 'drip tray' under the jug so that any drops are collected - it is easy clean as is the rest of the body. The best part is it has a 10 year warrentee - clearly they stand behind the machines they make
The colour matches my kitchen fittings. Thank you Kitchenaid - love it!

I used this blender to puree pumpkin for bread and pies. It created a super smooth consistency that made my baked goods awesome. I have also used a vita-mix blender and thought that the kitchen-aid was as good as or even better. Although it was louder I thought. I like this blender and know that what ever I need done it can do.

This blender can do it all. It is heavy duty and beautiful. It has held up to everything my family has thrown at it. I prefer the kitchen aid brand over others and we have many of their products in our house. If you have the chance go with they grey color as well.
